MERCENARY Frontman: First Breath Of Life For The 'Architect'

March 21, 2008

Vocalist Mikkel Sandager of the Danish metal band MERCENARY has issued the following update:

"I am sitting at the Studenterhuset in our home town of Aalborg slowly recovering from last night's show in Herning (DK). We launched the release of our new CD ['Architect of Lies'] yesterday playing the entire album from start to finish. The first time for us to actually do that, and I must say apart from one or two minor (Read: MAJOR!) fuck-ups, everything went really well. Great venue, great promoters and first of all great fans. Thanks to everyone for making the evening a success.

"So now we are getting ready to kick some more life into the old 'Architect' here tonight and with the biggest pre-sale ever for MERCENARY, things are looking very interesting indeed.

"It feels so good to be back where we are best: Playing live! Seriously, fuck recording the album, fuck making videos and all that shit. It's nothing compared to the feeling I get from the crown at a show. It is the single most intense feeling in the world. Where you truly live in the now and only the now. You can do nothing else."

"Isolation (The Loneliness In December)", the new video from MERCENARY, can be viewed below. The track comes off the band's new album, "Architect of Lies", which will be released through Century Media Records on the following release dates:
